Who is responsible for handling corrections?
Our Standards & Fact-Checking Lead, Oliver Reeves, oversees the corrections process. He and his team review every reported error, investigate the source of the mistake, and determine the appropriate remedy. Serious or complex errors are escalated directly to our Editor-in-Chief, Jonathan Ellery.

How can I report an error?
Readers can report potential errors by emailing our dedicated corrections team at corrections@britainnow.uk. To help us investigate quickly, please include the article headline and URL, a clear description of the suspected error, and the source or evidence for the correct information.

What happens once an error is reported?
Our standards desk will acknowledge receipt of your correction request within five working days. Oliver Reeves and his team will then review the report against the original source material and editorial records to verify the error and determine its severity.
This process ensures a fair and thorough investigation. We assess whether the error is material, minor, or a matter of interpretation. The reader who reported the error will be informed of the outcome once the review is complete.
What you can expect from us
For material errors, the article will be updated and a prominent correction note will be appended at the top or bottom of the page. This note will state the original mistake, the correction, and the date it was made. If new information is added to an article without correcting a factual error, we add an “update” note explaining what was added and why.
